Germans develop system to catch doping test cheaters

Cologne, Germany — A German laboratory has developed a system to catch athletes who switch or tamper with urine samples during doping controls.
A marker is put in a liquid given to athletes to drink before being tested. When the sample is analyzed, it will show if the marker is missing, according to the head of the Staedtischen Koelner Kliniken in Cologne.
